Overview

Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe was founded durring the early 11th century, by Vrikni. The establishment of Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Vrikni electing to pay people to resettle in Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe.

Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of restrictive split-log ties streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. Unfortuantly, these unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Right off the bat Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this city has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things.

POI

History

Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe used to be much richer, but something happened in the last 2 years to crush its source of prosperity. Different factions of the community might be trying to grasp at the remaining dregs of wealth, others might try to restart the failed industry, and some might look for a new livelihood. Any group or entity thought responsible for the collapse is likely to be treated very harshly, and some locals might find profit in shifting the blame to their enemies.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century the Kami blessed the town with good fortune for a year and a day. One of Êkèkê Nêkî-arobe's local festivals commemorates this miracle.
